The Ortho Molecular Answer

High Cholesterol

Program

Niacin is considered to be the leading vitamin to assist in reducing harmful cholesterol levels.

It is one of the best  known substances for elevating "good" cholesterol and balancing out the cholesterol ratio.

Studies have shown Niacin to lower cholesterol by 22% and triglycerides by 52%.

There are no known substances other than niacin that have as dramatic an impact on both cholesterol and triglycerides.

An Ortho Molecular therapist will likely prescribe a high-fiber, sugar-free diet in addition to Niacin.

Use of Niacin does not reduce cholesterol to dangerously low levels.

Side Affects

  • Niacin will cause a flush in most peole however it is not harmful to the body.

Important Notes

  • There is not a single recorded death per year from vitamins.
  • Pharmaceutical drugs properly prescribed kill over 100,000 Americans anually

Therapy

Therapy must be customized by an Ortho Molecular therapist.

Vitamin C - 1,000 mg three times daily

Vitamin B3 (Niacin) - 50 mg three times daily after each meal

After 3-4 days increase the amount of Niacin to 100 mg three times daily and continue to increase the dosage every 3-4 days by 50 mg until the dosage is the following:

1,000 mg Niacin three times daily

1,000 mg Vitamin C three times daily

It usually takes 3-4 months on the highest dosage to stabilize cholesterol levels.

According to leading Ortho Molecular researchers, continuous use of Niacin is believed to reliably reduce mortality.
