The Ortho Molecular Answer

Schizophrenia

Research of Schizophrenia indicates that the cause is based on the body losing balance and therefore ceasing to consume or produce chemicals created within the body in a normal way.

This may be due to a combination of both genetic and environmental factors.  Without these chemical changes within the body it is impossible for the disease to occur.

Ortho Molecular Science has found that Vitamin B3 is the key vitamin in balancing Schizophrenia.

Food allergies can also play an important role in causing Schizophrenia.  The most common food allergies are sugars, dairy products and wheat.

Standard psychiatry makes almost no reference to allergies as the cause of mental state dysfunctions.

Nutrition based therapy has a safe and effective history of correcting mental problems including Schizophrenia.

Program

If the cause is suspected to be reactions to food, an ortho molecular therapist may likely determine the source by taking a detailed food history and placing the client on the elimination diet:

Elimination diet

  • Remove foods to which one is allergic or which are toxic for a minimum of two weeks.
  • Monitor symptoms to see if there is improvement.
  • Reintroduce each food one at a time to determine which foods are causing an adverse reaction. If health deteriorates with the introduction of a specific food then it is toxic to your body and should be avoided, often for life.

Common Suspects

  • sugars
  • dairy
  • wheat

A customized vitamin therapy will also be prescribed.
